About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at NB Caregiving. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their dignity and comfort at all times.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits.
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients, engaging them in activities and conversations.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • Administer medications, as required, and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in home care.
  • First Aid Certificate and Health Care Aide Certificate.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
