Job Summary

S1 FOOD SERVICE INC. is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as supervising kitchen staff and helpers.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Manage kitchen operations
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Work under pressure
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with 30 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
