- Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, suppliers, and project stakeholders
- Ensure that all formal approvals for project bids, changes, and settlements are prepared and approved in accordance with corporate Level of Authority (LoA) procedures
- Approve hours of work, purchase orders, and project change orders within company limits of authority
- Represent the company to clients and suppliers with respect to project work and have signing authority for project correspondence, invoices, and work orders
- Prepare and manage budgets and accountability for assigned scope/project performance
- Provide regular formal reporting to senior internal and client management stakeholders
- Provide feedback and effective recommendations into functional performance review processes
- Make effective decisions and recommendations with respect to resourcing requirements on the project
- Provide day-to-day interpretation and application of negotiated agreements with bargaining agents as they affect the rights, obligations, and working conditions of employees
- 5+ years' experience supporting various types of projects, including construction, manufacturing, or engineering services projects
- 5-10 years' experience leading individuals and teams is an asset
- Ability to build a team and inspire them to perform and work together towards a common goal
- Lead by example and set high standards for Health & Safety and Nuclear Safety Culture
- Appreciation of the importance of Quality Assurance Programs and their significance to the nuclear industry
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer relationship skills
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Understanding of project delivery methodology, including earned value, critical path scheduling, prime contract and subcontract management, procurement and supply chain methodology, and inspection and test plans
- Working knowledge of industrial safety and nuclear safety culture
- Experience working in a nuclear environment
- Strong working knowledge of the customer's work planning organization and practices, as related to overall schedule reporting and with daily work initiation and closeout
- Fluent use of Chinese language and experience of working with Chinese State-Owned Enterprise is an asset
- Experience of working with other parts of AtkinsRéalis group, including UK and Global Technology Centre is an asset
