Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement effective work schedules to meet business needs
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high-quality standards
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food safety and quality control standards are met
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities to increase revenue and customer satisfaction
  • Compile inventory reports to inform purchasing decisions
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry
  • Food Safety Certificate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
