Role Overview:
The Clinical Application Analyst is responsible for designing, building, testing, and maintaining HIS applications. This involves liaising with end-users, consulting with Informatics Specialists and Senior Application Analysts, and recommending solutions that meet end-user requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop HIS applications to meet end-user needs.
  • Collaborate with end-users, Informatics Specialists, and Senior Application Analysts to analyze requirements and recommend solutions.
  • Test and maintain HIS applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to end-users and other stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a relevant clinical field.
  • Certification in applicable Epic Clinical Applications is considered an asset.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience supporting HIS systems and custom-developed applications, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience in HIS project implementation and support.
  • Knowledge and application of project management principles.
