At Acumatica, we're seeking a seasoned Distribution Solutions Manager to join our team.

Job Summary

We're looking for a strategic thinker with expertise in business applications and the distribution vertical market. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing product roadmaps, gathering customer feedback, and driving product development forward.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Product Planning and Development:
  • Engage with customers, partners, and internal teams to understand purchasing, order management, inventory control, replenishment, and warehouse operations processes.
  • Develop a solution set across development and marketing teams through product requirements, user personas, product planning, and communication.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and engineering to ensure functional specifications meet product requirements.
  • Work with Engineering to review product feature development progress and ensure built features meet product requirements.
  • Analyze feature usage telemetry to better understand user behavior and inform further enhancements.
  • Create, maintain, and present product roadmaps.
Market Analysis:
  • Conduct competitive product analysis and assessment comparisons.
  • Gather requirements and gain market knowledge by visiting existing Customers and Partners.
  • Manage focus groups, community engagement, user groups, and advisory boards to stay informed.
  • Document and present product requirements.
Program Management:
  • Participate in and deliver events and seminars.
  • Educate sales and partners on distribution capabilities and processes to ensure market success.
Product Launch Readiness:
  • Coordinate new product release activities across the organization.
  • Identify early adopters and manage the beta release process.
  • Review documentation and training materials and provide feedback to education teams.
  • Verify output from Quality Assurance to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing to properly message new features by developing sales tools like videos, fact sheets, and data sheets.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, plus benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Requirements

  1. A minimum of 3 years of product management experience in business applications, specifically in the ERP space.
  2. At least 5 years of domain experience in the distribution vertical markets and product experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and supply chain management.
  3. Experience working with cross-discipline, geographically dispersed teams.
  4. A unique blend of business and technical savvy.
  5. Strong decision-making and time-management skills.
  6. Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
