Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Special Projects to join our team at Fraser Health. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong background in project management, strategic planning, and healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic projects across Fraser Health, focusing on improving service delivery, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project resources, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion of project scope.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders, stakeholders, and external agencies to consult, negotiate, and ensure commitment to project goals.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial responsibility and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams, setting priorities, assigning work, and monitoring progress to ensure deadlines and objectives are met.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Health Services Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • More than 10 years of recent experience in hospital budgeting, strategic and operational project management, and consultation processes with various stakeholder groups.
  • Current registration with relevant professional College/Association, if applicable.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
