Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Pomeroy Lodging LP. As a Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of housekeeping staff to ensure that our hotel rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff to ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure that all areas of the hotel are cleaned regularly.
- Conduct regular inspections of hotel rooms and public areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained.
- Identify and address any cleaning issues or concerns raised by guests or staff.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained.
- Develop and implement training programs for housekeeping staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
- Monitor and control housekeeping budgets to ensure that they are within established limits.
Requirements
- 6 months of experience in a leadership housekeeping role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Proficient in English.
