Job Title: Technical Security Engineer

About the Role:

EMCOR UK is seeking a skilled Technical Security Engineer to join our team. As a Technical Security Engineer, you will be responsible for configuring and maintaining physical servers, designing and testing robust security solutions, and providing support to both on-site engineers and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure servers and recording pools are maintained to a high standard
  • Fault finding
  • Design and solutions
  • Carry-out and supervise planned preventative maintenance activities
  • Upgrades and system repairs
  • Modifications in line with contract requirements
  • Regular communication with the supervisor and customer on Key Point Indicators, and service level agreements

About You:

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in CCTV & Access Control and a good understanding of Enterprise systems. You should have adequate knowledge of relevant British Standards with a working knowledge of NSI required standards. Advanced diagnostic and fault-finding skills, with the ability to resolve by elimination and/or technical recommendations, are also essential.
