Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to our Director within the Facilities Management & Operations portfolio at Fraser Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing confidential and sensitive administrative support, coordinating meetings, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Director, including preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations
  • Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking minutes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including appointment schedules and timekeeping records
  • Assist with budget development and monitoring, including analyzing and reporting variances
  • Represent the Director's interests in administrative matters, including communicating with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
  • Grade 12 plus graduation from a recognized administrative assistant/secretarial post-secondary program
  • Three years' senior administrative support experience in a large complex healthcare environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including typing 55 w.p.m.
