Closing the Gap Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will work independently with adult clients in their home settings, providing face-to-face and virtual therapy sessions.
About the RoleThis is a part-time opportunity that offers flexibility and autonomy, allowing you to build a schedule that suits your needs. You will be responsible for conducting assessments in home settings, using standardized assessment tools to identify client needs. Our hybrid model of care combines face-to-face and virtual sessions, giving you the opportunity to create a balanced and rewarding work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments in home settings to identify client needs and develop personalized service plans.
- Provide face-to-face and virtual therapy sessions to adult clients, focusing on improving communication skills and overall well-being.
- Collaborate with family members, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology from a recognized post-secondary program.
- An active registration in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario.
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Flexible and organized working style, with excellent communication skills.
