About the RoleAs a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide assessments in a home setting based on presenting impairment or diagnosis using standardized assessment tools. You will design a care plan using evidence-based information, relevant best practice guidelines, and clinical expertise. Your schedule will be flexible, allowing you to build a routine that suits your needs and works for your clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assessments in a home setting based on presenting impairment or diagnosis using standardized assessment tools.
- Design a care plan using evidence-based information, relevant best practice guidelines, and clinical expertise.
- Partner with clients' family members, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals regarding care goals and service plans.
To be successful in this role, you must be a graduate of a recognized Post-Secondary program in Speech Language Pathology, hold current active registration in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario, and possess a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. You should also have excellent communication and analytical skills, as well as strong organizational abilities.
