Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the Pine Grove Correctional Centre. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care and treatment in a correctional setting
- Maintain accurate patient records and promote preventative health measures
- Respond to medical and psychiatric emergencies with appropriate interventions
- Assess medical and mental conditions, making referrals as needed
- Active registration with the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPN) or The College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (RN)
- Knowledge of medical and psychiatric theories and related intervention strategies
- Experience working in a correctional setting or with a similar population
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
