Job Requirements
What you will bring:
A diploma in engineering technology from an accredited post-secondary institution.
Eligibility for professional registration with ASTTBC (CTech, AScT).
A minimum of 1+ years of progressive experience in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD).
Experience preparing Revit/AutoCAD drawings for electrical systems, including layouts, schematics, details, and specifications pertaining to electrical system design.
Proficiency with the latest versions of AutoCAD.
Experience working for a consulting engineering firm is an asset, including multi-discipline design compliance with drafting standards and QA/QC procedures.
Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong attention to detail; a committed team player and ability to work independently.
Some experience with spreadsheets and other software tools for electrical design and sizing is an asset.
A valid driver's license (required)
