Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care services to patients, including diagnosing and treating a wide range of health conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify health needs and develop individualized care plans
- Diagnose and treat patients with undifferentiated diseases, disorders, and conditions within the scope of practice
- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic investigations as necessary
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote healthy behaviors and disease management
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences
- Master's degree in nursing from a recognized institution
- Registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
