Retail Store Team Lead

Cordial Convenience is seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our sales team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Assign sales workers to duties, taking into account their skills and experience.
- Hire and Train Staff: Hire and train new staff members, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Authorize Payments and Returns: Authorize payments by cheque and returns of merchandise, ensuring that all transactions are accurate and compliant with company policies.
- Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for our sales team, taking into account their availability and workload.
- Sell Merchandise: Sell merchandise to customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all sales are accurate and compliant with company policies.
- Prepare Reports: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing valuable insights to management.
- Resolve Issues: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages, ensuring that all issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
- Security Clearance: Basic security clearance and bondable.
- Transportation: Own transportation.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, organized, team player, initiative, and ability to multitask.
