Retail Store Manager

Cordial Convenience is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Lead and manage a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they meet their performance goals.
- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively allocate tasks and responsibilities to sales staff, ensuring seamless store operations and optimal customer service.
- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop new staff members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Authorize Payments and Returns: Process payments and returns, ensuring accurate and efficient transactions.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and minimizing overtime.
- Sell Merchandise: Provide excellent customer service, promoting and selling products to meet sales targets.
- Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing insights to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of retail experience, with a focus on supervision and team management.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
