The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Specialist, Creative Services, to join our team. As a key member of our Communications team, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering communications content for digital media, creating a cohesive and compelling brand image for both internal and external audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Brand Management: Develop and maintain brand guidelines and processes to ensure consistency across platforms and with external partners.
  • Content Creation: Write and develop effective, modern, and engaging content to support communications objectives.
  • Translation and Localization: Draft, review, and oversee the translation of communications tools for both internal and external audiences.
  • Collaboration and Innovation: Collaborate with the Communications team and other business functions to generate new ideas and innovative strategies.
  • Digital Media Management: Manage and maintain websites, intranet, assist in the design of various marketing tools, and support the introduction of new technologies.
  • Change Communications: Lead the communications strategy and implementation for change initiatives, from assessment and planning to execution and tracking effectiveness.
  • Multi-Channel Communications: Create compelling communications for various channels, including presentations, live events, videos, websites, and social media.
  • Client Relationships: Serve as a trusted advisor, developing relationships with internal clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Event Planning: Plan and coordinate large corporate events.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree or diploma in Communications, Marketing, or Graphic Design.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and French.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
  • Technical Skills: Deep understanding of various mediums (print, web, presentations, advertising, social media) and their strategic use.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to take initiative, multi-task, and work under pressure, managing tight deadlines and evolving priorities.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and strong proofing skills.
  • Resourcefulness: Resourcefulness, autonomy, and a strong work ethic.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience in web design and extensive knowledge of design software, including Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office.
  • Additional Skills: Proficiency in WordPress, Sitecore, Dreamweaver, and HTML is an asset.
  • Photo and Video Editing: Experience in photo and video editing.
