Canadian Pacific Railway is seeking a highly skilled Senior Linux Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and support of our Linux environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on Linux operational support, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the architecture group to design and validate new Linux installations and upgrades.
  • Develop and implement automation scripts using PowerShell, bash, and Python to streamline Linux environment management.
  • Work closely with provisioning and operational staff to ensure seamless Linux environment support.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 10-15 years of infrastructure experience, with 1-3 years of virtual infrastructure experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux systems, networking, and storage technologies.
  • Experience with containerization platforms, Azure IaaS, PaaS, and automation technologies.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cluster management, Vcenter, and Nutanix tools.
  • Knowledge of Dell/EMC and Netapp replication technologies.
  • Strong understanding of protocols, including CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, and FC.
  • Experience with infrastructure as Code platforms, such as Terraform and Packer.
