Job Title: Senior Linux Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Linux Administrator to join our team at CP. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Linux environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direction and advice on capacity planning and future installations and design
  • Automate and orchestrate the use of Linux environments using Tanium, Orchestrator, and automation suites
  • Configure management using Ansible, SaltStack, Puppet, Chef, and Desired State Configuration (DSC)
  • Scripting languages including PowerShell, bash, and python

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 10 to 15 years of infrastructure experience
  • 1 to 3 years of virtual infrastructure experience

Preferred Knowledge:

  • Virtualization Technologies using VMware, Nutanix, and Hyper V
  • Design and configuration of converged infrastructure
  • Cluster experience with SLES and RH
  • Vcenter and Nutanix tools
  • Storage Technologies using Dell, EMC, and Netapp
  • Protocols including CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, and FC
  • Cisco Networking Products
  • Networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, Routing Protocols, and Switching
  • Cisco UCS Servers
  • VMWare Hypervisor and UCS bare-metal
  • Knowledge and use of containerization platforms
  • Strong Communications Skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated experience documenting environments, runbooks, etc.
  • Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and automation technologies
  • Infrastructure as Code platforms Terraform, Packer, Azure Resource Manager/CloudFormation templates
  • Enterprise service bus platforms
