We're currently seeking a Cost Controls Coordinator based out of the Montreal office. Under the supervision and guidance of a Project Controls Manager, this individual will provide Project Controls guidance and support to the project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support in developing, establishing, and maintaining the company's project cost/control systems.
  • Support proposal and estimating efforts to ensure continuity between project estimates and project baseline.
  • Develop detailed, resource-loaded schedules.
  • Assist the project team in converting project bids to setting up the complete, accurate project baseline (budget, schedule).
  • Set up project accounting systems (cost codes, job cost processing procedures, project rules of credit).
  • Evaluate and apply contract conditions (invoicing, reporting, change management, etc.) for project set-up, tracking, and closeout.
  • Maintain project performance and ensure that the project control system is properly implemented.
  • Generate all required project status reports for internal management and for the customer.
  • Analyze project schedule and cost reports and suggest corrective actions to maintain the project within anticipated cost and schedule.
Requirements
  • 1-2+ years of related project controls construction experience.
  • College or university degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks within a high-pressure work site environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees.
  • Willingness for continuous learning and advancement of technical knowledge.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel to projects.
  • Valid G driver's license and access to a vehicle.

The estimated salary for this position is around $65,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience.
