Project Controls Coordinator

We're currently seeking a Cost Controls Coordinator based out of the Montreal office. Under the supervision and guidance of a Project Controls Manager, this individual will provide Project Controls guidance and support to the project.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support in developing, establishing, and maintaining the company's project cost/control systems.
- Support proposal and estimating efforts to ensure continuity between project estimates and project baseline.
- Develop detailed, resource-loaded schedules.
- Assist the project team in converting project bids to setting up the complete, accurate project baseline (budget, schedule).
- Set up project accounting systems (cost codes, job cost processing procedures, project rules of credit).
- Evaluate and apply contract conditions (invoicing, reporting, change management, etc.) for project set-up, tracking, and closeout.
- Maintain project performance and ensure that the project control system is properly implemented.
- Generate all required project status reports for internal management and for the customer.
- Analyze project schedule and cost reports and suggest corrective actions to maintain the project within anticipated cost and schedule.
- 1-2+ years of related project controls construction experience.
- College or university degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks within a high-pressure work site environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees.
- Willingness for continuous learning and advancement of technical knowledge.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to travel to projects.
- Valid G driver's license and access to a vehicle.

The estimated salary for this position is around $65,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience.
