Experienced Carpenter Wanted for Construction Projects

We are seeking a skilled and experienced carpenter to join our team at Wright Construction Services Inc. as a journeyman/woman carpenter.
Key Responsibilities- Measure, Cut, and Assemble Materials: Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
- Build Foundations and Install Roof Systems: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
- Install Windows, Doors, and Stairs: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
- Train Apprentices: Instruct apprentices in the skills and techniques required for the job.
- Maintain Certifications and Licenses: Hold and maintain relevant certifications, licenses, and memberships, such as the Carpenter Red Seal Certificate and WHMIS Certificate.
- Education and Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade, with a strong educational background in carpentry.
- Language and Communication: Fluency in English, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Work Environment and Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment, with physical demands including bending, crouching, kneeling, and working at heights.
- Transportation and Tools: Own transportation, a valid driver's license, and a set of tools and equipment, including steel-toed safety boots and a hard hat.
