Job Title: Director of Player Safety and Security

Ubisoft Entertainment is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Player Safety and Security to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for driving the overall player safety strategy for our productions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define a vision and strategy for player safety that aligns with the project's past, present, and future needs.
  • Manage internal and public communication strategies around player safety.
  • Participate in the definition of tracking standards and follow-up policies to compare progress among projects.
  • Build monitoring tools and dashboards with relevant data teams.
  • Conduct research to understand disruptive behavior dynamics and impact.
  • Establish annual development plans with project security and safety teams.
  • Raise awareness among other services and partners about norms, best practices, and new trends/threats in the player safety field.
Requirements:
  • Senior management experience in the online gaming industry or a relevant digital industry.
  • First-hand experience dealing with online communities of users and managing user safety stakes.
  • Deep understanding of technology, UX, software development, and business stakes related to digital spaces and/or the online video games industry.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven environments.
  • Strong understanding of online gaming culture.
  • Strategic achiever with experience driving momentum and building alignment in complex environments.
