  • Design, analyze, and optimize mechanical systems for potash mining and processing.
  • Select and size equipment such as pumps, conveyors, and compressors, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with electrical and process engineers to ensure efficient operation of mechanical systems.
  • Coordinate with equipment manufacturers to oversee production and quality assurance.
  • Conduct site visits to supervise installation and commissioning.
  • Provide technical expertise to project teams and management, offering innovative solutions for improving efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the mining or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems in mining or processing environments.
  • Ability to travel to Mexico and the USA as required.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation preferred but not mandatory.
