Job Title: Cook

Modern Family Restaurant is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure a smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure timely and efficient service.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Reliability and dependability in maintaining a high level of quality and safety standards.
