Job Description

The Payroll Analyst will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and compliance of proper internal control payroll processes. Conducting root cause analysis to identify payroll systems problems/issues is a key aspect of this role. Additionally, maintaining payroll systems audit monthly, quarterly or as required, and assisting with external payroll audit requests are essential duties.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma.
  • A minimum of 5 years Hospital Payroll experience.
  • General accounting background.
  • Hands-on experience with Excel or equivalent.
  • Experience with JBDev/Kronos or similar timekeeping system.
  • Some knowledge of ADP preferred.
  • Knowledge of Wage and Hour Guidelines and Healthcare pay practices.
  • Knowledge of payroll dictionary set up.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll taxes.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with audits for 401k, DOL, W/C preferred.
  • Multi-state knowledge of payroll laws preferred.
  • Some knowledge of ADP preferred.
  • Experience with union collective bargaining agreements and protocols preferred.
