Job Title: Child Care Live-In Caregiver

We are seeking a qualified Child Care Live-In Caregiver to join our team at YVONNE JAKOSALEM. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to infants and children in a live-in setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, promoting positive behavior and development
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, encouraging independence and self-confidence
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all necessary safety protocols
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods, ensuring a smooth transition to sleep
  • Supervise and care for children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring timely and safe transportation
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing comfort and reassurance when needed
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations, prioritizing the child's safety and well-being
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in child care or a related field
  • Or equivalent experience
  • Asset languages: Korean
  • Ability to work in a live-in setting, providing 24/7 care and support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and other caregivers
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
