Job Title: Child Care Live-In Caregiver

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Child Care Live-In Caregiver to join our team at YVONNE JAKOSALEM. As a live-in caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to our children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, ensuring their personal hygiene and social development
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, promoting positive behavior and emotional well-being
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, fostering a sense of responsibility and independence
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all necessary safety protocols
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods, ensuring a smooth transition to sleep
  • Supervise and care for children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring timely and safe transportation
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing comfort and reassurance when needed
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations, prioritizing the child's safety and well-being
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Child Abuse Registry check, Child welfare check, Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract), and Vulnerable sector check
  • Previous experience in childcare or a related field, with a focus on infant and child care
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to relocate for this position
