About the Position

ELYSIS is currently seeking a Commissioning and Start-up Planner to join our team in the Saguenay Lac-St-Jean region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive and integrated support for planning the stages of equipment delivery management, from the project team to commissioning, start-up, and final stabilization.
  • Develop, monitor, and update schedules for multiple projects.
  • Maintain control of the various schedules by conducting analyses of critical paths, variances from the schedule, performance indices, and risks, and to recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Update project schedules to reflect progress against established timelines and produce progress reports for ELYSIS management.
  • Perform any other related tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Very good understanding of project delivery management practices.
  • Hold a DEC in Industrial Engineering Technology or an equivalent combination of technical training and relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of planning software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
  • Extensive knowledge of planning practices and procedures, with relevant experience in executing complex projects.
  • Ability to receive and understand information from various sources.
  • Skills in coordinating the efforts of all involved parties towards a common goal.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, along with excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Aptitude and interest in developing, supporting, and mentoring less experienced resources.
  • Excellent knowledge of the entire Office suite.
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
