ELYSIS, a partnership between Alcoa and Rio Tinto, is revolutionizing the aluminum industry with its innovative technology. We are seeking a skilled Commissioning and Start-up Technician to join our team in the Saguenay Lac St-Jean region. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a groundbreaking project within the aluminum sector.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental protocols.
  • Provide essential support for plant operations and start-up activities, guaranteeing equipment reliability.
  • Collaborate effectively with the process team to identify solutions and enhance technological advancements.

Your Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial maintenance and commissioning/start-up operations.
  • A DEC in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.
  • Prior experience in aluminum operations is highly advantageous.
  • Fluency in both French and English is required.

This position involves frequent travel to client sites within the region.
