Job Title: Estimator - Universal Collision Centre

Universal Collision Center Inc. is seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team at Universal Collision Centre Central. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the repair process by accurately assessing the extent of damage to vehicles and providing detailed repair estimates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect automobile body damage to identify the exact extent of all damage
  • Review estimates with insurance adjusters to gain repair and replacement approval
  • Document approved repair and replacement services required by creating work orders in the work management software
  • Work closely with repair technicians to discuss repair plans, clarify any technical aspects, and ensure accurate estimates
  • Maintain body shop records by recording all repair and replacement actions in the work management software
  • Stay updated on industry standards, repair techniques, and advancements in automotive technology to make informed assessments

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Body Shop environment
  • Unrestricted driver license and ability to drive automatic and manual transmissions
  • Ability to prioritize and maintain professionalism during high-volume periods
  • Self-driven to work independently and the ability to work effectively and collaborate with a team
  • Advanced decision-making and problem-solving abilities

Working knowledge of body shop software such as Mitchell is an asset but not mandatory.
