Job Title: Estimator - Universal Collision Centre Central

Universal Collision Center Inc. is seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team at our Central location.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to assess vehicle damage and provide accurate repair estimates. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the repair process, working closely with our repair technicians to ensure accurate estimates and efficient repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect vehicle damage to identify the extent of damage and provide detailed repair estimates
  • Review estimates with insurance adjusters to gain approval for repairs and replacements
  • Document approved repair and replacement services in our work management software
  • Collaborate with repair technicians to discuss repair plans and ensure accurate estimates
  • Maintain accurate records of repair and replacement actions in our work management software
  • Stay up-to-date on industry standards, repair techniques, and advancements in automotive technology to make informed assessments

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a body shop environment
  • Unrestricted driver's license and ability to drive automatic and manual transmissions
  • Ability to prioritize and maintain professionalism during high-volume periods
  • Self-motivation to work independently and effectively collaborate with a team
  • Advanced decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Working knowledge of body shop software such as Mitchell (asset but not mandatory)
