Global Sustainability Director

     Finning is seeking a talented Director of Global Sustainability to join our team. This is a key role that will lead the development and implementation of our overall global sustainability strategy. The successful candidate will drive business growth while minimizing our environmental footprint, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting our customers' sustainability objectives.

     Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing sustainability policies, plans, and procedures.
  • Communicating sustainability initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and analyzing sustainability trends, regulations, and legislation to ensure compliance.
  • Leading cross-functional teams to develop and execute sustainability initiatives.
  • Partnering with internal teams to integrate sustainability practices into corporate policies and procedures.

     The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental science, or a related field, and 10+ years of experience in a relevant industry. They will possess strong project management skills, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a complex organization.
