About the Opportunity

The At the Elbow Lead plays a critical role in providing technical oversight and subject matter expertise for the implementation and maintenance of clinical applications. This individual will lead the technical implementation of build/configuration and changes/enhancements for assigned clinical applications in collaboration with other ATE Leads and Managers.

The At the Elbow Lead will independently address issues and design decisions of moderate complexity with little or no supervision, delivering clear communication and documentation of complex concepts and issues related to clinical and non-clinical applications across the organization. This includes leading the analysis, resolution of issues, and communication of resolution to affected users.

The At the Elbow Lead reports to the At the Elbow Manager and oversees a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of initiatives and programs throughout the province. The lead will be committed to a high standard of performance and will provide support across the organization to leverage IT applications in support of NSH's and its clients' strategic mission, vision, and goals.

This position is flexible in location across Nova Scotia and is designated as hybrid, allowing for a combination of remote and on-site work without the necessity of relocating to the Halifax area.

About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in clinical application implementation, project management, and change management. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in clinical application implementation, with previous lead experience preferred. Project management and change management certification would be considered an asset.

The successful candidate will have a strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multi-task to meet tight deadlines. They will also have experience in leading teams of staff with indirect accountabilities to other operational units, as well as the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

The candidate will have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with experience in data analytics and excellent verbal, written communication, and influencing skills. They will also have experience in working with patient care leaders and be highly self-motivated, directed, and change-oriented.

Hours
  • Long-assignment, Full-time Position; 75 Hours Biweekly
  • Approximately 18 months with possibility of extension (assignment length subject to change)
Compensation and Benefits

$50.19 Hourly
