About the Opportunity

The At the Elbow Lead plays a critical role in the technical implementation and maintenance of clinical applications across Nova Scotia Health. This position requires a strong understanding of healthcare industry requirements and the ability to lead technical implementation projects with minimal supervision.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver complex projects. They will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing clinical applications, as well as providing technical oversight and subject matter expertise to ensure successful project outcomes.

This is a hybrid position, allowing for a combination of remote and on-site work without the necessity of relocating to the Halifax area. The successful candidate will be committed to a high standard of performance and will provide support across the organization to leverage IT applications in support of NSH's and its client's strategic mission, vision, and goals.

About You

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in clinical application implementation and project management. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role and will possess excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

The successful candidate will be proficient in various programming and clinical application reporting tools and will have a strong understanding of healthcare industry requirements. They will also have excellent verbal, written communication, and influencing skills, as well as the ability to lead and direct software upgrades.

Hours
  • Long-assignment, Full-time Position; 75 Hours Biweekly
  • Approximately 18 months with possibility of extension (assignment length subject to change)
Compensation and Benefits

$50.19 Hourly
