Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Annie Corrales. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Job Summary:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction.
  • Assist with medication management and administration.
  • Perform other related tasks as required.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with water activities, such as swimming or bathing.
  • Assist with regular exercise, such as walking or other physical activities.
  • Feed or assist with feeding clients.
  • Launder clothing and household linens.
  • Mend clothing and linens.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Plan therapeutic diets and menus.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction.
  • Provide personal care and support.
  • Shop for food and household supplies.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
  • Cook meals for clients.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
Work Environment:

Support for Veterans:
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Veterans.
  • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.
  • Recruit Veterans and other candidates with military experience through targeted hiring initiatives.
