Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to join our team at Barry Glotman. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to elderly individuals in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Assist with regular exercise, such as walking, to promote physical well-being
  • Mend clothing and linens to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals to meet the dietary needs of clients
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
Work Environment:

Our Home Support Workers work in the homes of elderly clients, providing one-on-one care and support. This role requires a high level of flexibility and adaptability, as well as the ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
