About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Avani Indian Bistro Burlington. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that our restaurant is a safe and healthy environment for our staff and customers.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to ensure that we get the best possible prices and quality.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Marketing and Sales: Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure that we are running efficiently and effectively.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring that our restaurant is a welcoming and inclusive space for all customers.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
