Pizza Cook Job Description

GDR Dhaliwal Enterprises Ltd. is seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking pizzas to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective service.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards to maintain customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • English as the primary language of communication.
Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Public transportation is available.
