Audit Manager

KPMG in Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our dynamic team as a Manager or Senior Manager in our Audit practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our audit teams and ensuring the correct accounting practices and methodologies are applied to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage the audits of our clients, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of services.
- Participate in the practice group to assist in implementing group business plans and contribute to the development of new business opportunities.
- Work with members of the practice management group to meet the goals of the assurance financial plan and drive business growth.
- Counsel, train, and mentor audit staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional client service.
- Apply KPMG's audit and accounting practices/methodologies on client engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience working with a public practice accounting firm, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality audit services.
- Previous experience using ASPE and ASNPO required.
- Excellent client service skills, with an aptitude to understand clients' businesses and develop strong client relationships.
- Ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities, with a strong focus on delivering results.
- Dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service, with a commitment to excellence.
- Proven background of building a client base and adding revenue, with a strong understanding of the audit and accounting industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong team player with meticulous attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work products.
