Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Food Service Supervisor to lead our kitchen and front-of-house teams. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing waste.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for management.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, guaranteeing accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Fast-paced work environment withstanding pressure.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Work Environment
  • Restaurant setting with a fast-paced environment.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $40,000-$60,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications.
