**THE OPPORTUNITY**

As the** **Food Services Manager reporting to the Vice President, Performance, Support Services & CFO, your role is responsible for overseeing patient and retail food services operations within the hospital. GBGH provides meals to patients, staff, and visitors, and you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the food services department. This includes ensuring the provision of nutritious, safe, and high-quality food services while adhering to regulatory standards and hospital policies, maintaining a commitment to enhancing the patient experience. Your leadership will support a team dedicated to delivering exceptional service and fostering a culture of excellence in food preparation and delivery. This is an exciting opportunity as GBGH in sources its food services management after over 10 years with an external provider. In the future this role may also evolve to support Environmental Services.

In your role as the Food Services Manager, you will be responsible for oversight of the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals, managing the food services staff, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will also be responsible for menu planning, monitoring and maintaining kitchen equipment, inventory management, procurement, budgeting, and ensuring cost-effectiveness and mínimal waste while maintaining excellent patient satisfaction scores.

- $108,667 to $125,665, plus a generous vacation allotment.
