Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Algonquin College. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors on campus.
Key Responsibilities:- Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect security breaches
- Respond to incidents and emergencies, including medical emergencies and security threats
- Conduct investigations and gather evidence to support incident reports
- Collaborate with emergency responders and other stakeholders to ensure a safe and secure environment
- Provide excellent customer service and support to students, staff, and visitors
- Minimum 1 year of experience in security or a related field
- Police Foundations Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid Security Guard License in Ontario
