Heavy Equipment Transport Operator

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Transport Operator to join our team at VBN Paving Limited. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for transporting heavy equipment and materials across various locations.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a valid AZ class license and experience driving dump trucks. You will be required to perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, as well as maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Key Responsibilities- Drive lighter, special-purpose trucks to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Perform brake adjustments and maintain vehicle condition
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid AZ class license
- Experience driving dump trucks
- Excellent physical health and ability to lift heavy loads
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will be eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, including dental, health care, and vision care benefits.
Please note that we do not provide relocation assistance. If you are willing to travel for extended periods and live on-site, you may be a good fit for this role.
