About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Care Worker to join our team at Horton Family. As a Home Health Care Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their dignity and comfort at all times.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Engage clients in regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical and mental well-being.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Criminal record check and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic approach.
