About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Care Worker to join our team at Horton Family. As a Home Health Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to our clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Household Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Exercise and Activity: Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, and engage in activities that promote physical and mental well-being.
  • Medication Management: Assist clients with medication management, as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Work in the client's home.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
