About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Care Professional to join our team at Horton Family. As a key member of our care team, you will provide personalized support and assistance to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Household Management: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Exercise and Mobility: Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, and provide support with mobility and transfers.
  • Medication Management: Assist clients with medication administration and reminders.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Work in the client's home.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
