About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our Operations team at BE Power Equipment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the daily activities of our Warehouse team and driving process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Warehouse Operations: Plan and execute workload based on various schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
  • Ensure Health and Safety: Promote a positive Safety culture and ensure adherence to Health and Safety standards.
  • Process Improvement: Lead a culture of ongoing process improvement using KAIZEN and LEAN methodology to drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure accurate recording of inbound materials in our ERP system and timely shipment of finished goods.
  • Employee Management: Actively manage employees to achieve high levels of quality, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and free of hazards before, during, and after each shift.
  • Employee Concerns: Handle employee concerns and issues, including incident reports and documentation.
  • Time and Attendance: Manage employee time and attendance and update hours accordingly.
  • Staff Planning: Support staff planning requirements on a daily and weekly basis to maintain uninterrupted workflow.
  • New Hire Onboarding: Hire, onboard, and train new employees.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing/warehouse environment.
  • Leadership Experience: 2+ years of leadership experience in a production and/or warehouse environment.
  • Lean Experience: Experience with continuous improvement (Lean/Kaizen) manufacturing concepts is a strong asset.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook, and familiar with ERP systems.
