Job Description for Warehouse Associate at 88 Supermarket Ltd.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at 88 Supermarket Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and Processing: Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verify quantities and product quality, and process orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and safe, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Shipping and Distribution: Pack and ship orders accurately and efficiently, and coordinate with transportation providers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to achieve goals and objectives, and provide support and assistance as needed.
Requirements:
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand for long periods, and move freely in the warehouse.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Availability: Availability to work a regular schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
