Logistics Associate

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Sleep Country Canada/Dormez-vous?. As a key member of our Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct customer product order picks and load delivery trucks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Complete inventory counts with Supervisor to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Inspect inventory for defects or damages and document as required.
- Use RF (Radio Frequency) Scanner to scan products and items into WMS system.
- Complete customer pick-up orders and provide exceptional customer service.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures and regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as required.
- Work collaboratively with the Operations team to exceed goals and expectations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical ability to lift and move large items up to 88lbs (40kg).
- Ability to work a flexible shift which may include evenings and weekends.
- Ability to think quickly and tackle problems.
- Experience with RF (Radio Frequency) Scanners.
- Ability to operate or willingness to learn how to operate material handling equipment.
- Experience working within a warehouse environment and knowledge of warehouse management systems are considered assets.
